Hi I’m Chrisie, founder of "Learning Success LLC," the wife and mother of dyslexics!

I became interested in the field of learning disabilities, specifically dyslexia, when my oldest son began having difficulty learning to read.  Through a series of events, I attended a seminar on dyslexia.  After learning the warning signs of dyslexia I realized that my son wasn’t "slow" or "immature" or "unmotivated," he was struggling with reading, writing and spelling due to an undiagnosed learning disability, dyslexia.

Through learning how to help him overcome his reading challenges, I learned how to tutor kids and adults with dyslexia using a specialized reading program.  From there I became a Certified Professional Tutor and a Dyslexia Testing Specialist.  I opened a tutoring and testing business called Learning Success.  Learning Success LLC has been serving dyslexic children and adults since 2001.

An important aspect of my business has been working with parents. My desire is to help moms (and mums) and dads learn more about dyslexia and to educate them how to best serve the needs of their children.  I hope to present information on dyslexia in "parent friendly" terms so moms and dads can best understand how to help their child.
