Successful Because of Dyslexia!
Some people are afraid to "label" someone as dyslexic. In fact we have an article on this website that addresses that issue. There is a distinct difference between "labeling" and "diagnosing" dyslexia. All that aside, regardless of weather someone is ever formally diagnosed as dyslexic the nature of someone with dyslexia often drives them to success.
Have you ever wondered why many of the worlds most successful and influential people have been dyslexic? I believe that is because when you have dyslexia you grow up using your other strengths, talents, or even senses to succeed. Often those poor people without dyslexia sail right on through school and into work without making waves, without stirring the pot, or asking "why?"
People with dyslexia are naturally more inquisitive, more creative, are better at compensating and adapting to new and different ways of doing things. Therefore as adults when we are freed from the moorings of "the way things are done" we are able to let our creativity freely flow into business, arts, politics, law, … whatever field you want.
I want to hear your stories of success. If you’re dyslexic and have overcome anything … Let us know about it … post your comment!
